Kelompok Keahlian Konstruksi dan Manajemen Infrastruktur

Towards Sustainable and Resilient Infrastructure through Improved Production System of Construction Projects

The work is interdisciplinary, with other research groups and with stakeholders across the construction industry.

Role and scope

The group is recognized as a pioneer of construction research groups in Indonesia. It has stood since 1980 as an early home of construction engineering and management education.

Research spans construction-industry development, construction-business performance, and field operations. The current agenda centers on lean construction: supply chains, project planning and control, construction operations, and infrastructure and asset management.

The group works with other FTSL research groups and with construction-industry stakeholders — project owners, contractors, consultants, associations, and government.

On the official FTSL page the group still uses the historic slug manajemen-dan-rekayasa-konstruksi (formerly the Construction Engineering and Management Research Group (KK MRK)).

Laboratory

Construction Engineering and Management Laboratory supports teaching, research, and outreach in project management, construction methods, and construction digitalization.
